§ 44-47. Commission action subsequent to public hearing.

(a)

Upon receipt of the Planning Board recommendation, the Commission shall prepare and submit to the Board of Commissioners a recommendation concerning the disposition of the proposed ordinance. The Commission may recommend:

(1)

Approval of the designation as proposed;

(2)

Approval of the designation subject to conditions; or

(3)

Denial of the designation.

(b)

If the Commission recommends approval of the historic district designation, it shall include the recommendation of the Planning Board and the minutes of the meeting at which the designation was considered by the Commission.
