§ 8-2. Regulating the hours of sales of alcohol on Sundays.

(a)

This section is enacted pursuant to the authority of Session Law 2017-87 (North Carolina General Statute 153A-145.7) and North Carolina General Statute 18B-1004(c).

(b)

The sale of malt beverages, unfortified wine, fortified wine, and mixed beverages is allowed in Orange County beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday pursuant to the licensed premises' permit issued under G.S. 18B - 1001.

(c)

Any policy, resolution, or ordinance conflicting with this section 8-2 is repealed.

(d)

This ordinance is effective when adopted.
