Whenever this Ordinance or any ordinance adopted pursuant to Part 3C of Article 19 of Chapter 160A of the North Carolina General Statutes requires a longer waiting
period or imposes other higher standards with respect to a designated historic landmark
or district than are established under any other statute, charter provision or regulation,
the provisions of this Ordinance shall apply. Whenever the provisions of any other
statute, charter provisions, ordinance or regulation require a longer waiting period
or impose other higher standards than are established in this Ordinance, such statute,
charter provision, ordinance or regulation shall govern.
