§ 44-57. Commission action subsequent to public hearing.
(a)
Within 60 days following the date of the public hearing, the Commission shall prepare and submit to the Board of Commissioners a recommendation concerning the disposition of the proposed ordinance. The Commission may recommend:
(1)
Adoption of the ordinance as proposed;
(2)
Adoption of ordinance subject to conditions; or
(3)
Denial of the ordinance.
(b)
Failure of the Commission to submit a recommendation within the required time shall be considered a favorable recommendation, without conditions. The time limit may be extended upon request of the applicant.
