§ 44-34. Meetings.

  • (a)

    A quorum for conducting business of the Commission shall be a majority of the appointed members. The Commission shall meet at least once each month; provided, however, a regularly scheduled meeting may be canceled due to inclement weather, due to the lack of a quorum of members or due to a lack of business to conduct.

    (b)

    All meetings of the Commission shall be open to the public, and the Commission shall cause notices to be given as required by Article 33-C, Chapter 143 of the North Carolina General Statutes, G.S. § 143-318.9 et seq., as amended. A public record shall be kept of the Commission's resolutions, proceedings, and actions.
