§ 12-15. Other prohibited discriminatory acts.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to intentionally or knowingly:

    (1)

    Perform or attempt to perform any act which directly or indirectly results in an individual's bodily injury or property damage where such act is directed at an individual or a group of individuals because of that person's or that group's perceived or actual race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, familial status, or veteran status in the United States armed services.

    (2)

    Solicit, encourage, compensate, assist, or conspire with another to perform or attempt to perform any act which directly or indirectly results in an individual's bodily injury or property damage where such act is directed at an individual or a group of individuals because of that person's or that group's perceived or actual race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, familial status, or veteran status in the United States armed services.

    (b)

    No person shall be found to have violated this Chapter solely on the basis of the content of any speech or communication used by such person.
